Not every life-threatening bleed happens on an arm or leg. Wounds to the neck, armpit, groin, or torso need to be packed and held with firm pressure. This hemostatic gauze is treated with kaolin, a naturally occurring mineral that activates the body's own clotting process. It gives you a better chance of controlling serious bleeding until help arrives.

How to use it

1. Expose the wound and find the source of the bleeding.
2. Pack the gauze firmly into the wound, directly onto the source of the bleeding.
3. Hold firm, direct pressure for at least [3] minutes.
4. Secure it with a pressure bandage, and call 911.
