About the Founder
I grew up in Leeds, England, in a rough neighborhood on the outskirts of the city. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me discipline, grit, and how to figure things out early. I was entrepreneurial from the start—buying candy at discount stores and selling it at school—long before I knew what business was.
Sports shaped my mindset. I played soccer and basketball before finding golf, eventually turning professional and becoming a PGA teaching professional. That background taught me patience, precision, and respect for craftsmanship—values that still guide how I build products today.
My family was hardworking and faith-oriented. My dad ran a small business and struggled at times, but he never failed to provide. He passed away when I was 19, before seeing me become a professional. Losing him forced me to grow up fast. I had to step into responsibility early, finish work that was already in motion, and focus on building a future with intention.
Faith later became personal and foundational. During a season of depression and anxiety, my wife prayed for me, and I felt a clear pull to persist, to stay grounded, and to return to God. That decision saved my life—and it’s why I’m open about my faith today.
I started thinking seriously about preparedness and everyday carry after my first daughter was born. Now, as a father of three with another on the way, I can’t afford to live reactively. Responsibility changes how you move through the world.
That same mindset led to 2ND AMEN EDC. I was frustrated with the quality, comfort, and price of existing gear—especially belts. Coming from a professional background where appearance and function matter, I believed I could build something better. Working closely with a product engineer, I stayed hands-on through design, testing, and manufacturing. We faced legal pressure early on, earned a patent, and kept refining until the product matched the standard I expect to wear every day.
2ND AMEN EDC is built for everyday men—fathers, providers, and protectors—who value responsibility, preparedness, faith, and a clean, practical look. No gimmicks. No false marketing. Just well-engineered gear meant to be worn daily and trusted for years.
I built this brand to solve real problems, create lasting quality, and prove that when you do the work—God multiplies it.
